The trapper has become a prisoner.
Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson, formerly of the Carolina Panthers, spoke to reporters this afternoon – just days before his team's Week 12 game against the Cleveland Browns. Jackson was asked if his 8-2 AFC North-leading team could face a trap game against its struggling 2-8 division rival.
But Jackson, probably jokingly, didn't understand what the term “trap game” meant. . .
Said Donte Jackson after being really unfamiliar with the term “Trap Game” 😂

Carolina selected Jackson in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft. And the Panthers went 31-68 overall with zero playoff appearances in his six seasons there.
Of course it was Jackson to the Steelers last March. The then 28-year-old defender made his way to Pittsburgh Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Diontae Johnson and the 2024 pick swap.
Johnson has from the Panthers while Jackson continues to start one of the best defenses in football.
