Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones (22) looks on during the third quarter of an NFL football game on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The Browns defeated the Jaguars 18-13. [Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union]

Appearances: 11 games, one start

statistics: 21 total tackles, one interception, three passes defended

analysis: Although he's not technically a starter, Jarrian Jones has carved out a significant role in Jacksonville's secondary and made a good impression there.

Jones has been on the field for 51% of the Jaguars' defensive snaps this year, almost exclusively as a slot cornerback, and is one of five Jacksonville players to intercept a pass. Pro Football Focus also labeled 10 of his 21 tackles as “stops,” representing offensive failures.

Jones is frequently targeted in coverage, however, as he has allowed a 75% completion rate on 36 passes thrown, according to PFF.
