After their bye week, the 2-7 Raiders travel to Miami to take on the 3-6 Dolphins.
It's not often that teams with just one game difference in their record have a larger point spread than this. Especially if the underdog comes out of a bye.
The Dolphins have more than a touchdown advantage and honestly, that's not all that surprising. The Raiders have lost five straight and have consistently been outscored by their opponents. And after struggling early in the season, the Dolphins are 2-3 in their last five games, with all three losses coming by six points or less.
The trip east, combined with the Raiders' inability to stop even half-good opponents from playing against them this season, has clearly caused oddsmakers to be cautious about the starting position.
