Despite the loss, rookie tight end Brock Bowers and sixth-year defensive end Maxx Crosby each recorded respective milestones.
With his four catches for 38 yards, Bowers set the Raiders' rookie receptions record. Bowers was selected by the Raiders with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft and now has 74 receptions for 744 yards and three touchdowns.
Bowers surpassed Amari Cooper's Raiders rookie mark of 72 grabs during the 2015 season when he hauled in a 13-yard pass from Las Vegas quarterback Gardner Minshew in the fourth quarter.
Bowers' 74 receptions are tied for the New York Giants' Jeremy Shockey for the third-most receptions by a rookie tight end in NFL history. There may be a serious story on the horizon for Bowers.
The record for most receptions by a rookie tight end in a season is 86, set by Detroit Lions' Sam LaPorta last season. Mike Ditka has the most receiving yards by a rookie tight end with 1,076 yards (as of 1961).
Meanwhile, with his three tackles for loss on Sunday against the Broncos, Crosby has more than 100 tackles for loss in his career.
